happy that I am officially done with this life lab
Starting tomorrow I will be able to go back on facebook finally! I am so excited I have missed facebook so much. Over the month I have learned that by not going on facebook I can actually become more diligant in my work. However I miss being connected and knowing whats going on. Today I actually interviewed a man who works for Geek Squad. I chose to interview him because he works int he feild of technology. Technology is his life and I wanted to know how it has affected him. His name was Justin and I started out by saying why do you love technology so much?He replied that growing up he has always been so fascinated with computers and games and the way they work. For fun he used to take computers apart and then put them back togeather.
When he was a child his brother asked for legos for christmas but Justin asked for a computer to take apart and learn the parts. Ever since he was a child he had been surrounded by technology. Justin himself has a facebook, and when I asked him what he would do if he couldn’t go on for a month. He asserted he wouldn’t be able to do it. He relies so much on computers and social networks to stay in touch with clients and family members.
Today’s society is technology deprived. We rely so much on computers to do pretty much everything for us. We can pay our bills on line, even order groceries online. Our society has become so dependent on technology. In a way its not so good. With todays economic crisis there are enough people struggling to find jobs. The fact that computers and robots are taking over citizens jobs is wrong.
